MetLife has announced a strategic partnership with Nayya to broaden the reach of its benefits experience platform, Upwise, by making it available through the Workday Marketplace. The move marks a significant step in MetLife’s ongoing strategy to lead the market in employee benefits and tackle the persistent “benefits confusion gap” facing today’s workforce.

Launched in 2024, Upwise has seen strong adoption, with 64% of users reporting that the platform made navigating their benefits easier. By October 1, 2025, Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) and Workday Benefits customers will be able to access Upwise at no additional cost, provided they offer or add MetLife’s Accident, Hospital Indemnity, or Critical Illness insurance products.

“We’re elated that Workday is enabling the scaling of our leading solution to help employers maximize their benefits offerings,” said Bradd Chignoli, Executive Vice President, Regional Business & Workforce Engagement at MetLife. “The addition of Upwise on Workday Marketplace enables us to tap into this robust ecosystem, efficiently expanding access to the solution and providing seamless integration for our mutual customers.”

The collaboration builds on MetLife’s earlier partnership with Workday, where it was named a Workday Wellness Partner, furthering both companies’ shared vision to simplify and personalize benefits for employees.

George Michaels, Chief Revenue Officer at Nayya, added, “Workday and MetLife are two industry titans and bringing them together marks a powerful shift in how smart organizations approach employee benefits. Nayya is proud to be the connective tissue, helping unify systems, data, and people to deliver a more personalized and effective benefits experience.”

This latest integration underscores a broader effort to enhance benefits engagement and improve ROI for employers through intuitive, data-driven solutions.
