Joy Metrics Partners with Mayo Clinic to Advance Predictive Clinician Fatigue Intelligence

Share

Joy Metrics (formerly known as SE Healthcare) recently formed a partnership with the Mayo Clinic to boost predictive intelligence within workforce management, especially with respect to early detection of the risks of clinician fatigue and burnout. The goal of this program is to combine operational data on workforce, including such variables as staff schedules, workload metrics, and other related data with clinical fatigue assessments to help health systems respond proactively to fatigue prior to its effects on turnover rates, quality of care delivery, and patient safety.

Through leveraging the experience of experts alongside analytics, this platform aims to steer healthcare facilities away from responding only after the fact to surveys toward taking a more proactive stance. “Health systems are under tremendous pressure to protect their workforce while delivering high-quality patient care. Our goal is to help leaders see burnout risk earlier, act sooner, and measurably improve outcomes for their workforce.” said Greg Coticchia, CEO, Joy Metrics. The collaboration with Mayo Clinic will begin with a knowledge-transfer phase, after which Joy Metrics will further develop and commercialize the enhanced predictive capability to support clinician well-being and workforce resilience.
