The State of Nevada has officially launched its modernized HR and payroll systems as part of the CORE.NV program, replacing a decades-old legacy platform with CGI’s government-focused CGI Advantage® ERP solution to advance the state’s “One Nevada” vision for more integrated and citizen-centric services. The initiative consolidates financial and HR functions statewide, enabling faster services for employees, improved data-driven decision-making, and greater operational efficiency through automation and streamlined processes. Highlighting the impact of the transformation, Brian Bowles, CORE.NV Director, said, “With CGI’s partnership, we are realizing a vision of a modern and responsive state government.

It also prepares for future digital government features, like unified timekeeping and improved online portals. Virginia Williams, Senior Vice-President and Business Unit Leader at CGI, pointed out the benefits for state employees. She said accurate payroll, automated calculations, and better HR services will improve fiscal stewardship and enhance services for residents. CGI also shows its commitment to Nevada by opening a new office in Reno. This ensures ongoing local support backed by global expertise.
