ShiftMed has announced a new integration with symplr Smart Square to enhance healthcare workforce management by connecting predictive staffing plans with a real-time clinician marketplace. This integration will enable healthcare organizations to send approved open shifts from Smart Square, which is an enterprise workforce planning and scheduling solution, to ShiftMed’s network of qualified clinicians when internal staffing is inadequate. Smart Square will continue to be the system of record for scheduling and forecasting, and ShiftMed will enable real-time shift fulfillment to ensure staffing needs are met in a timely manner without disrupting existing workflows.
