Springshare has announced its acquisition of the assets of Pathrise, an AI-enabled job search and career mentorship platform, in a move aimed at significantly enhancing its CareerShift division, which supports students and alumni with career exploration and job search workflows. The integration will bring Pathrise’s AI-driven software, specialized career resources, and mentorship capabilities into the existing CareerShift platform to create a more comprehensive solution for job seekers navigating a highly competitive market. “Over the years, the Pathrise team has built an incredibly powerful, data-driven, and AI-powered software platform to help job seekers land their aspirational jobs… We’re excited to combine the Pathrise functionality with our existing CareerShift platform,” said Slaven Zivkovic, Founder and CEO of Springshare.

Pathrise co-founders Kevin Wu and Derrick Mar will join the CareerShift leadership team after completing the wind-down of Pathrise’s standalone operations. Wu noted that the platform will continue supporting millions of job seekers, adding that “landing a great job means more than just getting good work experience – it’s also a gateway to economic freedom and improved social mobility.” The acquisition comes at a time when new graduates face a challenging job market shaped by AI-driven role shifts and economic uncertainty, positioning CareerShift as a critical resource for institutions and communities focused on improving employment outcomes.
