Syndio and Kognitiv have announced a strategic partnership that will assist global enterprises in preparing for the European Union Pay Transparency Directive (EUPTD) and the rising tide of global pay transparency regulations. The partnership will bring together Syndio’s AI-driven platform for governing pay decisions and Kognitiv’s advisory and implementation services as a global consulting firm and Workday services partner. The partnership will assist enterprises in developing continuous pay governance systems that will ensure pay decisions remain compliant, transparent, and aligned with the organization.

The EUPTD is a significant shift in compensation governance in decades. It requires greater reporting obligations, greater transparency, and more stringent regulatory oversight. Through the partnership, businesses will be provided with the tools necessary to measure pay equity, facilitate the process for remediation, produce necessary reporting, and manage compensation decisions over the entire employee lifecycle from hire, through promotions and merit increases, and on to pay adjustments. “This partnership comes at a critical moment for global employers,” said Maria Colacurcio, CEO of Syndio. “The EU Pay Transparency Directive is accelerating a global shift toward transparency and accountability in how organizations manage pay.”
