The Standard Insurance Company recently released Parental Leave Resources, its new value-added initiative aiming to assist parents in different stages of parental leave, as well as managers and employers in understanding and managing parental leave. The project was developed in cooperation with PERKY and the Center for Parental Leave Leadership (CPLL) which is a leave planning platform. This service is more about addressing the issues of parental leave that go beyond the mere fulfillment of the administrative requirements and not only offers leave planning education also include financial wellness tools, return-to-work plans, and mental support resources, all of them designed for the use of adoptive, foster parents and parents in general, HR team members and managers as well. With the help of the PERKY program, the employees can access a custom-tailored Leave Planning Tool that offers them an overview of a number of complicated and interlocking state and federal leaves, including job protections, and income projections, financial statements, and other community and support initiatives.

Concurrently, CPLL’s RETAIN Coaching Hub™ equips organizations with planning assessments, departure and return templates, manager conversation guides, and access to certified coaches to improve employee retention and engagement.
