Darwinbox has appointed Pannie Sia as Regional Vice President for Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia, expanding its regional leadership as enterprises across Southeast Asia increase their focus on AI-native human capital management.
In the new role, Sia will oversee go-to-market strategy, sales team development, and enterprise customer growth across the three markets. Her appointment comes following the launch of Darwinbox Cortex, the company’s AI-native platform designed to support organizations across the employee lifecycle, from hiring and retention to employee enablement.
Sia brings more than two decades of enterprise technology experience, having held roles at IBM, SAP, Workday, and ServiceNow. Her career has included working with organizations across Asia Pacific and Japan, as businesses have adapted to changes in technology, operating models, and workforce expectations.

“What drew me to Darwinbox is its ability to bring technology and people together in a way that actually changes how work gets done. Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia are three very different operating realities, and enterprises here need a platform built with that complexity in mind and not adapted to it after the fact, unlike legacy players. With Cortex, Darwinbox is uniquely placed to lead that shift. My focus is straightforward: amplify the potential of every employee across the organizations we serve.” – Pannie Sia, Regional Vice President – Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia, Darwinbox
Sia’s experience includes building regional teams, expanding enterprise businesses, and working with customers across diverse Asia Pacific markets. Darwinbox said the appointment reflects its continued investment in regional leadership as enterprises explore AI-native and agentic technologies for HR operations.
“Southeast Asia has shown great intent in leading the global charge to scale with AI. Pannie has spent two decades helping large organizations across APAC navigate exactly the kind of transition our customers are in the middle of now. She understands both the enterprise buyer and the regional nuance that determines whether a platform actually works in these markets. Her focus is Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia—scaling our presence there and making sure enterprises receive the depth they need, not a global product with local settings.” – Rohit Chennamaneni, Co-founder, Darwinbox
Darwinbox already serves enterprises across Southeast Asia in sectors including financial services, hospitality, manufacturing, healthcare, and technology. Sia’s appointment adds regional leadership as organizations in Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia evaluate how AI can be integrated into workforce and talent management.
