Led by Alan Murray and Gwendolyn Bounds of the WSJ Leadership Institute, the Council will convene leaders from billion-dollar enterprises through curated gatherings and global activations, including a flagship summit and participation in events like Davos. The Council will focus on pressing issues such as AI ethics, workforce transformation, diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), and employee well-being, serving as a real-time think tank to influence corporate strategy. Gwendolyn Bounds emphasized the Council’s role in addressing the evolving relationship between human talent and AI, stating, “We believe it’s time to center the leaders who must navigate that complexity every day.” This initiative underscores the critical role of CPOs in navigating the complexities of modern business and shaping the future of work.
