Pearson and Salesforce announced an extension of a decades-old partnership to support increasing AI readiness and workforce development for the company’s global workforces. This multi-year engagement will build upon Salesforce’s AI-enabled CRM tools and use Pearson’s capabilities in learner, skills and workforce analysis to enable enterprise organization’s to adapt to fast-changing working expectations.
As part of the agreement, Pearson will work with Salesforce to discover new requirement for roles, analyze the skills gaps in the workforce and deliver relevant training programs to prepare for AI workplaces.
The will also prepare employees by certificating them to attain industry-recognized credentials. The alliance will start from previous relationship between the companies. Pearson already uses several Salesforce technology (like Agentforce) into their business activities and also their partner Pearson Professional Assessments is the only worldwide exam partner for all the certification programs offered by the Salesforce.

Through Pearson’s Faethm platform, Credly credentialing system, and assessment tools, Salesforce will gain predictive insights into future workforce skill requirements while scaling learning and development initiatives across its organization.

Salesforce executives underlined that the collaboration is tailored to prepared its employees for the increasing job demands as AI becomes widespread. The sharing of a broader alliance signals wider engagement from enterprises partnering with the investment in AI-enabled workforce transformation initiatives, as more firms put emphasis on upskilling and lifelong learning in response to the rising influence of automation and generative AI on the future of work.
