Udemy has announced the August launch of its new Model Context Protocol (MCP) Server, developed via its Innovation Studio, to integrate personalized upskilling directly into employees’ daily workflows. Built on Anthropic’s MCP framework, the server enables seamless access to contextual learning within AI tools like ChatGPT and Claude—eliminating disruptions and the need for custom setups. “Companies, especially large enterprises, are making significant investments in AI tools, but the real challenge is making those tools useful in day-to-day work,” said Hugo Sarrazin, President and CEO at Udemy.

“The Udemy MCP Server helps bridge that gap by bringing the right learning to the right person at the right time, directly inside the platforms they’re already using.” The solution includes on-demand micro-courses, plug-and-play integration, role-specific personalization, and intelligent content discovery across tools like Cursor and CRM platforms, all while maintaining enterprise-grade security. As the first global reskilling platform to pioneer agentic AI workflows, Udemy aims to help organizations scale real-time skill development and deliver measurable business outcomes. Early access will be available through Udemy’s Early Adopters Program.
