Human Capital Management (HCM) software leader Zensai announced it will preview Coaching with Context, the industry’s first agentic AI-driven coaching solution built natively for Microsoft, at the HumanX Europe conference in Amsterdam. The platform adds to Zensai’s AI assistant system ZBi by extending it from an “interactive, static” employee development program to an ongoing, personalized executive coach built into the “everyday flow of Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Teams.”
With the spread of skills gaps, economic ambiguity, a changing workplace, traditional professional coaching continues to be largely used by senior executives because of its expensive and operational friction. Task-specific generative AI offers scalable options, but it suffers from absence of organizational context and constantly offers all-purpose advice, divorced from employees’ roles, team culture, and business strategy. Zensai’s Coaching with Context addresses these limitations by leveraging real-time enterprise signals to deliver personalized performance guidance across all organizational levels.
“Traditional executive coaching is effective, but it’s too expensive to scale across an entire workforce,” said Martinne Geller, Chief Product Officer at Zensai. “Generative AI solved the scalability problem, but it created a context problem. Off-the-shelf LLMs don’t know your business, your team dynamics, or your strategic priorities. By building ZBi natively within the Microsoft platform, we’ve created an agentic coach that combines the personalized depth of human leadership coaching with the scale and accessibility of AI.”

Grounding AI Coaching in Real-Time Operational Data
Unlike standalone point solutions, Zensai’s Coaching with Context operates directly within the Microsoft Graph API framework. By securely parsing operational telemetry including calendar commitments, team collaboration patterns, skill matrices, performance reviews, and learning histories ZBi functions as an intelligent co-pilot that delivers proactive, situational guidance during pivotal workplace moments.
Key architectural features and operational capabilities include:
Real-Time Operational Context: Synthesizes internal data feeds such as project milestones, feedback cycles, and role expectations to tailor coaching recommendations to specific business goals.
Proactive Micro-Coaching: Prompts managers and individual contributors with actionable advice prior to critical interactions, such as performance reviews, cross-functional project kickoffs, or leadership transitions.
Agentic Learning Integration: Connects seamlessly with Zensai’s broader Human Success Platform (covering Learn365, Perform365, and Engage365) to automatically suggest targeted learning modules and skill-building exercises.
Enterprise Security & Privacy Governance: Operates entirely within an enterprise’s existing Microsoft security perimeter, ensuring full compliance with tenant-level data governance, privacy protocols, and regulatory mandates.
“We’re moving into a world where simply having AI is no longer enough,” said Rasmus Holst, CEO of Zensai. “The real opportunity is in redefining work using AI and context to help people perform at their best. We are uniquely set up to deliver that since we have been exclusively focused on delivering cutting edge solutions in the Microsoft eco-system for over a decade with millions of users around the world. The next chapter of Human Success is about making coaching a daily habit for millions of employees everywhere.”
Democratizing Leadership Development for Enterprise Workforces
Through its integration of context-aware AI capabilities with native Microsoft integrations, Zensai is able to enable businesses to democratize the process of high-impact leadership coaching among their whole workforce. This allows reducing administrative burdens, overcoming employee engagement challenges, and giving people leaders the ability to develop their talent effectively.
