Axon has unveiled the Axon Body Workforce Mini (ABW Mini), a compact, AI-enabled body camera for frontline workers in retail, healthcare, and other sectors facing rising workplace violence and theft. Weighing under 100 grams—25% lighter than existing cameras—it delivers durability, extended battery life, two-way voice communication, and a front-facing LED matrix for transparency. “Every worker deserves to go home safe,” said Josh Isner, President of Axon.

ABW Mini integrates AI assistance via Axon Assistant for real-time policy guidance and translation, and connects to Axon OS for incident alerts, monitoring, and digital asset management. Key features include seamless wearability, panic activation with live streaming, over 12 hours of battery life, and customizable LED visuals. Developed with frontline staff, it also includes AI-powered training through Axon MetaCoach. Early deployments in healthcare and retail aim to reduce incidents, improve response times, and enhance situational awareness, providing a lighter, smarter solution to safeguard employees, property, and communities.
