LumApps Appoints Sébastien Cano as Chief Executive Officer

LumApps, a leader in employee experience platforms, has appointed Sébastien Cano as Chief Executive Officer, effective December 1, 2026. Founder and current CEO Sébastien Ricard will transition to Executive Chairman, remaining actively involved in long-term governance and strategic direction.

Cano brings over two decades of enterprise software experience, specializing in scaling technology companies into global market leaders. He previously held senior executive roles at international technology firms Thales and Gemalto, where he led global expansion and operational strategies. In his new role based out of LumApps’ U.S. headquarters in Austin, Texas, Cano will focus on advancing the platform’s Workhub roadmap, expanding international operations, and driving client value across diverse enterprise environments.

The leadership transition comes as LumApps expands its global footprint to serve more than 10 million users across enterprise desk workers and frontline teams. Integrated with major workplace ecosystems like Google Workspace and Microsoft 365, LumApps uses AI agents to centralize corporate communication, learning resources, and business workflows into a unified digital hub.
