Henry Ford Health has entered a strategic partnership with Nomi Health to expand access to affordable, high-quality healthcare by offering $0 out-of-pocket costs for employees and their families through a direct-to-employer contracting model. As Michigan employers face rising insurance premiums—including double-digit increases projected for 2026—this collaboration enables access to Henry Ford Health’s extensive network of more than 550 care sites, staffed by over 50,000 team members and 4,500 clinicians, without deductibles, copays, or surprise bills. “Partnering with Henry Ford Health represents a major step toward a more affordable, accessible healthcare ecosystem for Michigan families,” said Mark Newman, Co-Founder and CEO of Nomi Health.

The partnership aims to remove financial barriers for nearly 40% of Americans who delay care due to cost, while stabilizing employer healthcare spending and providing fast, full payment to providers. Robin Damschroder, CFO and President of the Value-Based Enterprise at Henry Ford Health, noted, “Our commitment to improving affordability and access to high-quality healthcare has never been stronger, and this partnership helps us deliver on that mission.” As Michigan continues to advance direct contracting models, this initiative positions both organizations at the forefront of redefining employer-sponsored healthcare.
