ADP has launched a new embedded integration with Thatch, bringing Individual Coverage Health Reimbursement Arrangement (ICHRA) capabilities directly into the RUN Powered by ADP® payroll platform, giving more than 900,000 small businesses a simplified way to offer flexible, affordable healthcare benefits. Building on ADP Ventures’ April 2025 investment in Thatch, the integration allows employers to discover, quote, and activate ICHRA plans within their existing payroll workflow, while automated payroll deductions, carrier payments, and compliance support help reduce administrative overhead. Employees also gain a more personalized experience, with the ability to select health, dental, vision, and other coverage options through Thatch’s interface.

Integrating Thatch into RUN gives organizations that power.” Thatch CEO and co-founder Chris Ellis added, “Our integration with ADP represents a major step forward for small business healthcare access and affordability… Together, we’re helping small business owners compete for talent by enabling them to offer affordable health.”
