HackerEarth Unveils OnScreen: An Always-On AI Interviewer Redefining Technical Hiring

Share

HackerEarth has launched OnScreen, an AI-driven interview platform that is intended to remove the hassles of scheduling and make certain that no talented candidate gets skipped. It was designed to be operational all the time; hence the platform is capable of administering technical interviews 24/7 with the help of AI-generated humanlike avatars, which bring a shorter and more regular hiring process to the organizations.

Conventionally, technical recruitment is largely dependent on the availability of the interviewer, which is why interruptions frequently occur and even opportunities are missed – for example, when candidates apply at unusual hours or if they happen to be exploring other offers as well. OnScreen solves that problem by facilitating instant interviews that can be done anytime without waiting for the human to schedule.

The instrument which is conversational AI-based comes up with an interactive and customized job-oriented interview which changes in accordance with candidate answers and focuses on the capability to solve problems rather than the capacity to memorize. Besides that, it is a standardized method that is used for each interview to make it really as fair and as consistent as possible.

“Recruiters are under pressure more than ever. The volume of applicants has surged, AI-generated resumes have made initial screening harder, and the risk of missing the right candidate keeps climbing,” said Vikas Aditya, CEO of HackerEarth. “OnScreen was built so that no qualified candidate is overlooked because nobody was available to interview them.”

In addition to its interviewing capabilities, OnScreen integrates advanced proctoring features to maintain integrity throughout the process. The platform detects anomalies while keeping the disturbance to legitimate candidates at bay. At the same time, KYC-level identity verification is introduced to ensure that the candidate undergoing the evaluation is who they claim to be.

Early adopters of the system have already realized substantial benefits. An organization processed over 2,000 candidates over the weekend and succeeded in evaluating them consistently without any form of discrimination. Another company noted that their interview shortlists became better than before, along with shorter hiring cycles, where some positions were even filled in weeks.

OnScreen works seamlessly with other features of HackerEarth‘s hiring platform, including the coding tests and hiring challenges. The platform helps hiring managers conduct more interviews without having to hire additional personnel.
