Their blueprint, Inform Talent Selection Using Optimized Assessments, provides a five-step guide. This helps HR leaders enhance candidate evaluation and boost hiring results. The findings show a clear gap. Sixty-seven percent of HR departments recognize how important candidate selection is. However, only thirty-one percent believe they do it effectively. Research shows that well-designed, data-driven assessments offer better insights into candidates’ skills, cultural fit, and growth potential.

This helps align hiring with business needs. It also underscores the rising importance of skills-based hiring. Around 65% of HR professionals expect it to greatly affect performance. However, the report warns against using AI without a strategy.
