Traliant, a leader in online compliance training, has introduced two new de-escalation courses aimed at equipping office and industrial workers with skills to prevent conflicts from escalating into workplace violence. The additions expand Traliant’s growing portfolio of industry-specific training, which earlier this year launched tailored programs for retail and hospitality sectors.
The new courses, De-escalation Training for Office and De-escalation Training for Industrial and Manufacturing, focus on practical communication strategies, situational awareness, and early intervention techniques to help employees and managers identify warning signs, remain calm under pressure, and respond constructively to aggressive behavior.
“Violence can happen anywhere; from office cubicles to factory floors,” said Bailey Whitsitt, Legal Counsel at Traliant. “With the rise in workplace tensions across all industries, organizations must empower workers to proactively prevent situations from escalating, protecting both employee well-being and organizational safety.”

The urgency is underscored by findings from Traliant’s 2025 Employee Survey Report on Workplace Violence and Safety. The study revealed that one in four employees experienced or witnessed workplace violence in the past year, with more than half of incidents involving verbal threats or aggression. The report also highlighted generational differences, noting that younger employees—41% of Gen Z and 47% of Millennials—felt less confident in their de-escalation abilities compared to older cohorts.
Featuring interactive modules, real-world scenarios, and knowledge checks, the courses are designed to fit seamlessly into employees’ everyday environments and can be delivered as standalone programs or integrated into broader workplace violence prevention strategies.
By extending its training to office and manufacturing teams, Traliant reinforces its mission to foster safer, more resilient workplaces across industries at a time when conflict prevention has become a critical priority.
