Rain Integrates with Paylocity to Simplify Earned Wage Access for Employers

Share

Rain, a leading provider of earned wage access (EWA) solutions, has announced a new integration with Paylocity, the HR, payroll, and spend management platform used by more than 41,650 organizations. The partnership enables employers to easily deploy Rain’s EWA service directly through Paylocity’s integrations marketplace, allowing employees to access a portion of their earned wages before payday.

Through this bi-directional integration, Paylocity clients can now join over 3.5 million workers who have used Rain to alleviate financial stress and reduce dependence on high-cost financial products. The integration comes as financial challenges continue to mount — the Financial Health Pulse 2024 U.S. Trends Report found that 70% of American households are facing worsening day-to-day financial realities.

Rain’s EWA solution allows employees to securely access up to 50% of their gross earnings before payday. The platform automatically imports wage and timekeeping data from Paylocity, ensuring accurate and responsible access limits. Employees can receive their funds via Rain’s mobile app, with free ACH transfers or instant access for a small fee. Payroll adjustments are automatically synced back to Paylocity, streamlining employer reimbursements without disrupting existing processes.

“Knowing Rain partners directly with Paylocity gives us extra confidence that the systems we rely on every day work smoothly together,” said Heather Grant, Director of Total Rewards at Hopebridge. “While our decision to partner with Rain was about employee financial wellness first, the Paylocity integration has been a real added benefit.”

“Earned wage access is becoming an essential component of any modern HCM toolkit,” added Rodolphe Mulliez, EVP of Go-to-Market at Rain. “By partnering with Rain, our payroll model seamlessly integrates with your system, allowing us to collect less data than any other provider in the U.S., driving financial wellness and flexibility for today’s workforce.”
