Greenhouse Names Sharawn Tipton as Chief People Officer

Greenhouse, a leading hiring platform that supports companies in optimizing every stage of the hiring process, has appointed Sharawn Tipton as its new Chief People Officer. Tipton will lead initiatives to enhance Greenhouse’s employee experience and align people strategy with business growth objectives.

With over two decades of experience in human resources, Tipton has a proven track record of using people strategy to advance organizational performance. Her expertise spans public and private companies, focusing on Total Rewards, inclusion, diversity, equity, and allyship (IDEA). Most recently, she served as Chief People and Culture Officer at LiveRamp, overseeing global HR operations and designing programs that fostered inclusive, high-performing workplaces.

Tipton’s appointment comes as Greenhouse experiences rapid expansion, highlighted by the launch of initiatives such as Real Talent, MyGreenhouse, and Dream Job. Daniel Chait, CEO and Co-Founder of Greenhouse, emphasized the significance of this leadership addition: “Getting the right leadership in the role of Chief People Officer is mission-critical. Outside of her professional work, Tipton is passionate about travel, culinary exploration, and live music. She also contributes to nonprofit boards and mentorship programs advancing workplace equity and student success and lectures on HR topics at Golden Gate University.
