Indeed Flex Expands to Eight New U.S. Markets to Strengthen Flexible Workforce Access

Share

Indeed Flex is expanding into eight new U.S. markets. This online marketplace connects businesses with flexible workers. The move increases access for employers and job seekers using the W-2 workforce model. It also meets the growing demand for flexible staffing. Companies are facing economic uncertainty, seasonal changes, and shifting workforce needs.

With this growth, Indeed Flex will serve businesses in Charlotte, North Carolina; Northern Kentucky; Las Vegas and Reno, Nevada; Southern and Central New Jersey; Greater New Haven, Connecticut; Orlando, Florida; and Phoenix, Arizona. The company plans further expansion into more U.S. regions soon.

Indeed Flex’s mobile-first platform connects workers with blue-collar jobs. It helps employers quickly fill essential roles in retail, hospitality, logistics, industrial operations, and facilities management. All employees within the network of Indeed Flex have been fully vetted as W-2 employees to help companies maintain compliance while ensuring quality in their workforce consistently. In addition, the company offers Flex Plus, an end-to-end VMS which centralizes recruiting, payroll, workforce compliance, operational oversight, and staffing agency performance into one single, customizable system.

“In times of economic turbulence, demand fluctuates and that makes workforce planning even more complicated, as business leaders around the country can attest,” said Azusa Kurihara, VP of Strategy at Indeed Flex. “We are pleased for the opportunity to bring flexibility to more businesses and workers when they need it most.”

To workers, the platform brings more control and security than gig work does. Workers can browse and apply to shifts anytime; they can pick roles that fit their schedule and access their earnings quicker. Indeed Flex offers same-day pay options, where workers can access up to half of their wages in their accounts shortly after leaving a shift. Flex workers are W-2 employees and, as such, will have immediate access to medical, dental, and vision benefits from day one, as well as have access to a rewards program after just one shift.

By combining flexibility with benefits and compliance, Indeed Flex aims to create a more engaged, reliable workforce that helps employers operate efficiently while giving workers meaningful choice and stability.
