Teal, the career platform used by more than four million professionals, has acquired Ramped, an AI-powered job application automation startup known for its “Autopilot” technology. The deal, announced from Miami, marks a major expansion of Teal’s capabilities as it moves toward building the most comprehensive job search ecosystem. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Ramped’s platform allows job seekers to set preferences, identify suitable roles, and automatically apply using AI-generated resumes and cover letters. Its Autopilot feature manages the entire application workflow, helping more than 400,000 users broaden their reach and often secure roles within 90 days. The acquisition adds a deep layer of automation to Teal’s existing strengths in job discovery, career guidance, and application optimization.
“Joining forces with Teal accelerates our mission to democratize the job search through AI-powered automation,” said Danny Leonard, Co-Founder and CEO of Ramped, who will join Teal as an advisor.
David Fano, Teal’s Founder and CEO, said the acquisition strengthens Teal’s long-standing goal of supporting job seekers from exploration through application. “Ramped’s technology allows us to extend Teal’s platform deeper into the application process, pairing our strategic guidance and integrated job board with an additional layer of AI-driven execution. Together, it creates a more seamless, comprehensive, and effective experience for anyone navigating a career transition.”

The combined platform will now offer a full suite of capabilities: AI-driven job matching, a verified job board, resume and application optimization tools, workflow tracking, and now automated applications powered by Ramped. Teal plans to integrate Ramped’s automation technology over the coming months, with existing Ramped users migrating to Teal’s ecosystem.
Mitch Deforest, Ramped’s Co-Founder, will also serve as an advisor, noting that the partnership “opens up incredible opportunities for innovation” and helps build an AI-first job search experience that reduces manual effort for users.
The acquisition underscores Teal’s ambition to create the most complete consumer career platform—one that empowers job seekers with clarity, automation, and personalized support at every stage of the journey.
